ESPACE GRAVEL
ESPACE GRAVEL BIKE
A land of wide open spaces!

Here trails and small roads cut through valleys and hills to reach our villages and natural sites, avoiding the main traffic arteries. The wide open spaces of Haute-Provence, Verdon and the Alps are yours for exceptional Gravel adventures !

We have 21 signposted or GPX-tracked Gravel routes in our 4 sectors and 2 bikepacking itineraries, the Gravel Tour du Verdon (3 days) and the Gravel Tour Géoparc (2 days), to help you discover the wild landscapes of our Provence Alpes Outdoor destination.

This area is renowned for the quality of its courses and has been awarded the ‘Espace Gravel’ label by the FFC (to be awarded in spring 2025).

GRAVEL MARKING SIGNS

The easy and medium-level Gravel routes (green and blue) are all signposted on the ground with mountain bike markers (triangles and yellow circles) on which you will find the route number (G1, G2, etc.) and the Gravel pictogram (green or blue). Most of the more difficult routes are not marked. You need to follow the GPX track.
