Hiking car park (1 140 m) - Head back towards Verdaches. Turn right in front of the church, walk past the town hall and then up an alleyway on the left. Reach a road and follow it uphill to the right. At the agricultural shed, follow the path to the left and then left again at the crow's feet. The path crosses a collet and then descends to a crossroads.
Flagustelle (1 170 m) - Go straight ahead and then left a little further on. The track ends in a meadow, go along the meadow to the left and find a track. Follow it for 20 m and then turn left again onto a path alongside the stream. Do not enter the meadow, but walk alongside the meadow and then the stream and climb a track to the right. This soon becomes a path that climbs into the forest and leads to a collet. Turn right and continue up through the woods. Join a meadow and then the hamlet of La Sambue.
La Sambue (1 356 m) - Continue straight on to the fountain (non-drinking water). The path descends through pastureland (keep the fences closed) and passes close to a spring. Go right down into the valley and then into the forest. Join a stream and follow it downhill along a succession of paths and tracks until you reach a tarmac road. Go straight on, then turn left and enter the hamlet of "La Route".
At the fountain, turn right, then straight on at the road junction near a second fountain. Follow the tarmac road to the start car park.
