Located at 1200 meters, the chapel is discovered after a climb without great difficulty via the castle of Beaucouse. In a relatively dry landscape, it appears as a sort of oasis nestled on a grassy platform with its source of fresh water.

According to tradition, miracles were at the origin of the construction of this sanctuary. A pilgrimage, at the beginning of August, still brings together pilgrims from the various surrounding villages.
