This journey into the heart of Haute-Provence perfectly combines physical effort with the authenticity of a land steeped in history—ideal for riding from springtime onwards to soak up the Provençal light.
The adventure then shifts into a wild setting toward Vilhosc, where forest tracks and deserted roads alternate until you reach the Pont de la Reine Jeanne. In this preserved valley where the Vanson river flows, a contemplative break or a quick swim is a must before starting the return leg. The finale is masterful: you will cross the village of Volonne followed by the Haute-Provence Himalayan footbridge. This technical yet contemplative route is the ultimate experience for discovering the hidden treasures of the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
